Purposeful Play: Walkers

A structured, weekly class for toddlers who are standing, walking, and gaining independence—designed by a play therapist, pediatric physical therapist, and parent support specialists.

This stage is all about confidence, coordination, and early learning. Each session blends movement, sensory play, and simple guided activities that support balance, walking, climbing, and early coordination—while also introducing early concepts like following directions, imitation, and problem-solving.

As your child becomes more independent, we focus on helping you stay connected. You’ll learn how to support exploration while setting gentle boundaries, encourage communication, and respond to big emotions in developmentally supportive ways.

We also introduce early social experiences—like parallel play, turn-taking, and group interaction—so your child can begin building the foundations of social skills in a supportive environment.

Each class gives you practical, real-life strategies you can use at home to support your child’s development, confidence, and growing independence.
