FAQs and Policies
How does enrollment work?
Enrollment reserves your spot in a weekly class at a specific time and age group. Classes run on a monthly, auto-renewing basis so you can build consistency week to week.
Why is enrollment structured this way?
Purposeful Play is designed to build over time. A consistent weekly spot allows your child to grow their skills and gives you the chance to build real connection with the same group of parents.
Who can attend class?
Your class enrollment includes your caregiving team. Parents, nannies, and grandparents are all welcome—anyone involved in your child’s care can attend and benefit from the class.
What if I miss a class?
Your spot is reserved for you each week, whether you attend or not. Because of this, we’re not able to offer makeups or credits for missed classes.
Can I pause or hold my enrollment?
At this time, we’re not able to offer pauses or holds. If your schedule changes, you can cancel with two weeks’ notice.
How do I cancel my enrollment?
We require two weeks’ notice to cancel. Your enrollment will remain active through your billing period, and your spot will then be released to families on the waitlist.
Can I switch to a different class time?
If another class has availability, we’re happy to help you switch. If it’s full, you can join the waitlist and we’ll reach out if a spot opens up.
What’s included with enrollment?
Enrollment includes your weekly class, access to Open Play sessions, and 10% off birthday parties while you’re actively enrolled.
Can I bring a sibling or participate as a nanny share?
Each child needs their own enrollment to ensure every family has a dedicated spot. However, we offer a 20% sibling or nanny share discount—just reach out and we’ll take care of it for you.
What if a class is full?
Join the waitlist! We’ll reach out as soon as a spot becomes available or if we open an additional class.
What if my baby is ready for the next stage?
Babies grow and change quickly, and we’ll help guide you through those transitions. When your baby is ready, you can move into the next class if space is available. If not, we’ll add you to the waitlist and help you transition as soon as possible
What is Open Play?
Open Play is a drop-in, unstructured time for your child to explore and practice skills at their own pace—while you connect with other parents. It’s included with enrollment or available for $15 per session.
Don’t see a class time or location that works?
We’re actively adding new classes based on demand. Join the waitlist and let us know what works for your schedule—we’ll reach out as soon as we open a class that fits.
What should I know about the space for when I arrive?
We’ve designed the Heybrook to feel easy, comfortable, and truly parent-friendly from the moment you walk in.
Shoes off, cozy on: We have a no-shoe policy to keep the space clean and comfortable for babies.
Fully equipped for you + baby: Changing tables and a private nursing area are always available.
Easy arrival: Free, convenient parking—no stress getting in and out.
