Eastside (Kirkland) Venue Instructions
Arrival
Parking: Parking is free in the lot in front of the building. You and your guests can park in any available spots in the lot (even the ones across from our building that say reserved)
Time:
Ultimate Play Package includes 30 minutes of set-up before your start time
Gather and Play Package includes 15 minutes of set-up time before your start time
Staff: A staff member will be present and available to assist you during your event. They will be there when you arrive to let you into the space and can help you access things as needed
Music
You can plug your devices using Bluetooth There are two separate bluetooth speaker systems, one in lounge and one in studio room. To have music in both, you will need to connect two different devices.
Food and Drink
Outside Food: You can bring in outside food. If you are using a caterer, please review the rental agreement for required insurance.
Alcohol: You can bring in alcohol but you will be required to acquire a banquet permit for your event. Click here to learn more and get your permit,
Equipment: We have a refrigerator with a freezer, a water cooler (with hot and cold water), a coffee machine and a microwave
Furniture
Living room style furniture: Is available in the lounge. You can move furniture around but please move it back to this original position at the end of your event
Folding Chairs and Tables: There are 30 Folding Chairs and 4 folding tables (6 by 4 ft). We do not provide tablecloths
Ultimate Play Package: Included
Gather and Play: Not included but you can pay to add them on if you would like to use them
Highchairs: We have two highchairs available for use
Toys
The kids corner in the lounge area includes some toys and is included in all packages
The Ultimate Play Package includes a Soft Play Set-up Area
House Rules:
We request that you kindly follow our house rules. Failure to adhere to these rules could result in forfeiture of your security deposit
Remove your shoes when entering the space
Use of tape, wires, tacks, nails and glue to hang decorations is prohibited. All decorations must be placed and removed without leaving damage. Be kind and leave the property as you found it
No glitter, rice or confetti may be used in the space
No candles (aside from candles used briefly for cake) are permitted
Smoking or use of vapes of any kind is strictly prohibited in the space and must be done at least 30 ft from any entrance
Please stick to area(s) that you rented. Do not enter any of the offices in the back or the retail area
Please do not touch any of the retail items in the retail section or any items on the front desk
Remove any food items from refrigerator and freezer that you put in there

Seattle (Wedgwood) Venue Instructions
Arrival
Parking: There are 5 included parking spaces in the lot behind the building (designated with a The Heybrook Sign). Otherwise, there is plenty of street parking.
Time:

Music
Apple Home Pods are located throughout the space.
Use bluetooth on your device to connect to these (Network name is Kitchen) If you desire to only have music on in the classroom, there is a BOSE speaker under the TV. Power on and connect via bluetooth.
The TV can be used to stream directly from your phone/tablet/laptop. Please see your device for instructions.
Food and Drink

Bathrooms
Restrooms are located in the hallway off the back entry. Keys can be found hanging to the right of the back door.
Back entry door will lock behind you, prop door open when using the restroom or you will be locked out.
Please return keys to hooks by door.
