Purposeful Play: 7 - 12 Months

Purposeful Play is a weekly class designed to support your baby's development and your confidence as a parent — at exactly the stage you're in right now.

Between 7 and 12 months, your baby is on the move. They're crawling, pulling to stand, cruising along furniture, and getting into everything — and underneath all of that movement is a brain working overtime. They're problem-solving, imitating, communicating with gestures and sounds, developing their pincer grasp, and beginning to understand that they are their own person in the world.

Each session focuses on working towards your baby's next developmental milestones across gross motor, fine motor, sensory, and socio-emotional skills.

Support for you is woven in too. You'll learn how to read your baby's cues, respond with confidence, and understand what's typical at this stage. You'll leave with practical tools and a clearer sense of how to support your baby's development throughout your day, not just during class. And you'll be in a room with other parents navigating the same season — because we aren't meant to do this alone.

*Ages for the class are relative. We suggest thinking about the developmental stage they are in and choose the class description that matches best!

The room has a patterned wall, a beige carpet, and outside trees and parked cars are visible through the window.
A group of people, including a young girl, are in a room with white walls and a beige floor, playing with toys. The girl is standing and pushing a colorful toy shopping cart, while two adults, a man and a woman, are kneeling behind her, smiling.

Children playing in a ball pit with white, pink, green, and yellow balls, with adults supervising nearby in a playroom.
Two young children, a boy and a girl, sitting at a table. The boy is wearing a light blue shirt and jeans, and the girl is in a red shirt with white hearts. The girl is holding a green ball. In the background, there are adults supervising, and large windows letting in natural light, showing trees outside.
